 sets itself apart from other events in the industry by going above and beyond to support attendees with logistics, accommodations, and networking opportunities. Held in the bustling city of Cannes, the awards ceremony provides a unique opportunity for professionals to connect and collaborate. The team takes great care in bringing visiting companies' opinions to the forefront through interviews, side meetings, and local supplier integrations, creating a true experience for attendees.

Picture this: a music festival, scavenger hunt, and immersive theatre all wrapped up into one amazing opening ceremony! That's what the Esch2022 opening ceremony was all about.

What made Esch2022 so extraordinary was how we placed the needs and desires of the local community first. We talked to residents, artists, and cultural organisations to determine what they wanted to see, then we used our creativity and digital tools to create an immersive experience that accurately reflected the community's culture and values.

As a hybrid culture studio, we were overjoyed with the nomination, and we are thrilled that our hard work and dedication are being recognised. Esch2022

The challenging circumstances of the first Covid-19 lockdown offered Battle Royal Studios the opportunity to develop a novel hybrid format for the Esch2022 REMIX Opening, unique in its scope and interactivity for the traditional opening ceremony of a European Capital of Culture. With a wide range of immersive live entertainment, Battle Royal Studios took the audience to the moon and back.
