Battle Royal Studios is a spatial design agency based in Berlin, working with brands, institutions, and cultural organisations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. We combine scenography, interactive technology, and spatial storytelling to create branded environments that move people, physically and emotionally. Wherever we build, we draw on an extensive network of trusted local suppliers and partners.
Since 2011, we’ve delivered over 625 productions spanning trade fair booths, immersive exhibitions, brand activations, showroom experiences, retail environments, and large-scale public ceremonies. Our work connects creative direction, architecture, and end-to-end production under one roof, from first sketch to final build.
Whether for a product launch at a European expo, a permanent brand space in a flagship store, or a projection-mapped installation at a cultural festival, every environment we create begins with a single question: how should people feel when they step inside?
As part of our broader experience design practice, we bring creative strategy, spatial architecture, and technical delivery together, ensuring every project connects vision to experience. Our multidisciplinary team includes creative directors, scenographers, spatial designers, AV engineers, and production managers who collaborate from concept through completion. This integrated approach is what allows us to design and produce spaces where brand identity, interactive technology, and human behaviour converge.
We design exhibition stands and trade fair environments that go beyond display, creating spatial narratives that draw visitors in and hold their attention. From modular booth concepts for European expos to bespoke pavilion builds for international fairs, our work integrates scenic design, media architecture, and interactive touchpoints.
Recent projects include the Sensorium Piazza at Milan Design Week, where a responsive spatial installation held visitors up to four times longer than neighbouring stands, and the TikTok brand environment at OMR Hamburg, a spatially choreographed experience blending meeting spaces, social zones, and interactive storytelling.
We work across sectors, including automotive, technology, luxury, lifestyle, and government, delivering exhibition environments in Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, Milan, and Dubai.
Our spatial design practice extends beyond temporary activations into permanent and semi-permanent branded environments, showrooms, flagship retail experiences, brand museums, and visitor centres.
We translate brand identity into physical spaces using scenography, light design, projection mapping, and interactive installations. Every element, from material palettes to sensory choreography and digital layers, serves the brand’s story and the visitor’s journey.
Our approach treats each space as a medium. A place where architecture, narrative, and technology work together to create emotional resonance. Whether it’s a consumer experience spanning 10,000 m2 in Tokyo or an intimate brand room in Berlin, we design for connection and memory.
We serve clients in the luxury, automotive, tech, FMCG, and cultural sectors across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and wider Europe.
We bring spatial storytelling to cultural stages, public ceremonies, and civic environments. Our scenographic work combines large-format projection mapping, live performance design, spatial choreography, and architectural lighting to transform venues into immersive narratives.
For the European Capital of Culture opening ceremony in Esch-sur-Alzette, we designed a region-wide spatial experience for 35,000 participants, blending large-scale visual performance with hybrid interaction and community-driven storytelling.
For the Dubai Police graduation ceremony, we used projection mapping and choreographed spatial staging to turn an institutional milestone into a purpose-built immersive environment.
Our scenographic expertise serves governments, cultural institutions, municipalities, and brands that need to create meaning at scale, from Hamburg to Riyadh, Dubai, and beyond.
Our portfolio spans immersive exhibitions, trade fair environments, branded showrooms, retail experiences, and large-scale ceremonies. We design and produce globally, with work across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Greece. Whether you need a spatial design agency for a brand environment, a product launch space, a corporate event venue, or a cultural ceremony stage, our team connects creative vision to built reality.
From branded environments to cultural stages, we bring creative vision into form.
Whether you’re designing an exhibition, trade fair booth, showroom, retail space, or architectural environment for a major celebration, our team aligns creative direction, spatial architecture, and production to bring it to life.

Spatial design is the practice of shaping physical environments to create meaningful experiences. At Battle Royal Studios, we merge creative direction, scenography, architecture, and human behaviour research to design spaces that connect brands with audiences. Every environment we create – whether a trade fair booth, exhibition, branded showroom, or cultural stage – starts with narrative intent and ends with emotional impact.
We design and produce a wide range of spatial environments: exhibition stands, trade fair booths, immersive brand activations, showrooms, retail experiences, museum installations, cultural ceremonies, and public spatial experiences. Each project is tailored to the brand, audience, and context – from intimate brand rooms to 10,000 m2 immersive environments.
Yes. We deliver full-service spatial design and production, from creative concept, scenography, and spatial planning through to technical build, AV integration, and on-site delivery. We also offer design-only or consulting support for teams that need creative direction without full production.
We’re headquartered in Berlin with representation in London, Dubai, Riyadh, and Sydney. Our spatial design work spans Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, Japan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, delivering branded environments and immersive experiences across Europe and the Middle East.
Our spatial design practice serves automotive, technology, luxury, lifestyle, FMCG, culture, government, and entertainment brands. We design for trade fairs, product launches, corporate events, cultural festivals, and permanent brand spaces.
Scenography and projection mapping are core tools in our spatial design practice. We use them to create immersive narratives within physical environments – from large-format projection-mapped ceremonies for 35,000 people to intimate interactive installations in branded showrooms. Our AV and creative teams collaborate to ensure that every light cue, media surface, and sensory layer serves the spatial story.
For large-scale builds, exhibitions, or ceremonies, we recommend 6 to 12 months from briefing to delivery. Smaller activations, pop-up environments, or trade fair booths can go from concept to live within 8 to 10 weeks. Timelines depend on the project’s complexity, venue requirements, and technical scope.
