Head of Events & Activations (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated new core team member in the role of Head of Events & Activations (m/f/d) to expand our diverse team of creative directors, strategists, producers and creative community.

Location: Glogauer Str 17, 10999 Berlin

Mode: Employment (32-40 hrs/week, tbd.)

Start: September 2023

What’s In It For You?

As our Head of Events & Activations (m/f/d), your role will entail:

• Working closely with our clients to fulfill bespoke solutions

• Divide and conquer with our inhouse Head of Production. Secure smooth processing of new requests and setting up relevant project teams

• Team Lead, Coordinating and leading a freelance team of pro project managers

• Promote a positive team culture that is based on creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• New business outreach and taking new project requests

• Become an integral part of grand, international live events

• Supervising / setting up budgets and deliveries from pitch to confirmation

• Ensuring smooth procurement processes when establishing new engagements

• Close collaboration with BRS creative teams to ensure proposed concepts are properly calculated and feasible

• You can bring your own ideas to create unforgettable experiences

• Active involvement in improvement of internal processes

• Managing and executing select projects

• Controlling of project budgets, payment plans and timelines in line with overall BRS planning and policy

Some Guidance and Expected Experience

• Completed studies or training in relevant subject

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience as a producer and/or in project management (events, live entertainment, experiential marketing, sport events ceremonies, live activiations)

• Experience in leading teams

• Practical experience in planning, execution, budgeting and controlling of projects, experience with creative projects a plus

• Experience in negotiating and managing various event service providers (technical, video, creative)

• Proven experience in dealing with big budgets, excel pro 😊

• Strong interest in current trends and developments in the event industry

• Experience with digital events is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and assertiveness even in hectic times and under time pressure

• Strong teamwork and communication skills and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams

• Good time management and structured way of working

• Quick comprehension, eye for detail and proactive solution finding

• Hands-on mentality in planning and implementation on site

• Willingness to travel (national and international)

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and MS Teams

• Business fluent in written and spoken English, German skills required
